This unique necklace is made of natural amber and sterling silver. Amber is wonderfully warm, light and comforting to wear. Hand-carved and oval-shaped from a single Baltic Amber set in sterling silver 925 with a beautiful deco frame. This pendant features a one of a kind carving, as well as a custom setting made specially for this cabochon of Amber. The carving shows a rose in bloom, which has a three-dimensional look and stunning depth!

A rose flower is hand-carved with a drill in the amber stone, from the back.
This technique of carving is called "Reverse Intaglio". The image is carved in reverse from the back of the pendant, which forms a 3D image when seen from the front.
